12 Awesome Schools #innovate To Meet Students’ Needs

Here is an interesting article in Huffington Post entitled, These 12 Awesome Schools Could Change the Way you Think about Public Education.  12 awesome schools! OK, but notice how different they are.  These schools have accomplished what they are known for by finding a way to meet the needs of students they serve.  So, why are the overwhelming majority of  our publics schools the exact same? Why not allow schools to “take the road less traveled” and find a unique path that when followed with fidelity meets students where they are.  I would advocate for giving more independence or autonomy to school administrators and faculty to evolve in ways that encourage them to adapt to changes in their surroundings.
